Ka-Bar is without a doubt a legendary company. Manufacturer of the top-class knives and tactical accessories from Olean, New York constantly develops its already large choice of products, adding more specialized, classical or plain tacticool novelties.

2022 is no different in that manner, therefore we decided to cast some light on what new we can expect this year in terms of Ka-Bar products. We present You:

1269 Fighter Straight Edge

Among the knife users, we can differentiate between two antagonistic groups – plain edge lovers and serrated edge lovers. Even though the animosities between those two groups are not as big as between soccer teams fans, the dispute between those two groups is still hot.

Therefore, instead of choosing sides we decided to present You new Ka-Bar fixed knife which should satisfy the needs of plain edge fans.

1269 Fighter Straight Edge is the younger brother of 1271 model, which is currently available in our online store. The distinctive feature of 1269 is the plain edge blade. Lack of serrations definitely changes the utility values of the knife, so it can fit the expectations of other groups of customers.

Apart from that, in 1269 we can find some signature Ka-Bar features like 1095 carbon steel blade, Craton handle and hard plastic, molded, MOLLE compatible sheath. As well as its serrated twin brother, 1269 is 327 mm long and weighs around 350 grams.

1333 Hatchet Hawk

Ka-Bar to meet the great demand for tomahawks and hatchets, decided to add this kind of product again to its portfolio – probably to fill the gap after discontinued 1331 Leather Handed Hatchet.

Despite that the details about the new 1333 Hatchet Hawk are pretty scarce, we know that unlike its predecessor, Hatchet hawk will be larger and probably also more beefy. Apart from that, by the looks of it we can tell that Hatchet Hawk will also offer pretty minimalistic design, but its handle will still remind classical Ka-Bar knife handles.

Apart from that, as we can tell from the manufacturers’ press materials, the main goal of Hatchet Hawk is to introduce a solid, reliable, resilient tool, but in a still affordable price range.

3067 98-R Folder

In this case, we are not entirely sure if that if it is still a knife or a tactical razor for tactical shaving – at least as the shape of the blade is concerned.

But being more serious - Ka-Bar decided to add something different to its portfolio, this time in a shape of razor blade – style folder. It is also pretty obvious, that 98-R stands out with its blade design, as well as with its handle.

The blade is not very big – it has 10 centimeters in length. It is made of 5cr15 MoV stainless Steel and hardened to 53-56 HRC. We must say, that it matches the black-brown G-10 handle perfectly.

The knife as a whole is also not very big or heavy – it is rather medium size, 20 centimeters when fully unfolded, weighing 136 grams. Apart from its obvious advantages, 98-R will surely attract the attention of anybody who sees it, because of its great looks and unique design.

7511 Jarosz Camp Turok

Jarosz Camp Turok is another product of cooperation between Ka-Bar and Jarosz Knives and designed by Jesse Jarosz himself. Being a Turok’s model bigger and beefier version, Camp Turok is a typical camp knife. But to be honest, the term “typical” is a bit of an understatement because apart from outstanding utility qualities - it in a way reminds the knives used by video game characters what makes it really unusual.

Because of its size, weight, design and all around impression, Camp Turok can be definitely called “Tank Opener”. Weighing 360 grams, having 33 centimeters of length and made of 1095 Carbon Steel, Camp Turok is undoubtedly a knife you can always rely on.

Its 5 millimeter thick blade will surely endure everything you throw at it during usual camping works. Due to that, Turok Camp will surely become a trustworthy companion, no matter if in the forest or at the military mission.

It is also worth mentioning, that Turok Camp features a molded plastic sheath, fully compatible with MOLLE, so it can be easily attached to a backpack or a tactical vest.

9929 Sweet Move Slingshot

“And now, for something completely different” - Ka-Bar for the recent years has got as used to some extra products being introduced each year. Windshield scrapers, chopsticks, spoons, and even pizza knives are the products that add to Ka-Bar portfolio some unique flavor. We must admit, that Ka-Bar didn’t let us down this year in “tacticool” department too. We present You the Sweet Move Slingshot.

Furthermore, we are pretty confident, that Sweet Move will find its fans very quickly because of its Ka-Bar style design and being cool - plain and simple.

The slingshot is made of hard, black polymer with black, thick, double rubber band and as well as the most of the “tacticool” products line has the Ka-Bar signature handle.

To sum up, Ka-Bar is definitely not giving up on development and introduction of new produtcs that will meet the expectations of even most demanding clients. From the 1942, when the Mark 2 knife was started being issued to the USMC, Ka-Bar stays undoubtedly a definition of military knife, reliability, quality, and sturdiness.
